DAY 1
Buenos Aires –
Iguazu
Arrive at Puerto Iguazu International Airport
in Argentina and transfer to the Sheraton International
Iguazu Resort with rooms overlooking the magnificent
falls.
Visit the falls in the afternoon with a naturalist
guide.
DAY 2
Iguazu
Falls
In the morning, head to the most important viewpoint:
Devil’s Throat and explore the Iguazu National
Park with a private guide. Walk along trails that
provide access to the forest, offering close-up
views of the falls and opportunities to see tropical
birds, flowers and butterflies. In the afternoon,
cruise by zodiac boat raft up the Lower Iguazu
River.
DAY 3
Iguazu
– Buenos Aires
Cross the border into Brazil to enjoy the best panoramic
view of the falls. Take a guided walking tour through
the National Park. In the late afternoon, return
to Buenos Aires.
Other local tours can be added to the traditional
Iguazu Falls: • Enjoy adventure activities such as rappelling,
canopying and climbing in the middle of the forest.
• Trace Argentina’s Jesuit lineage: Jesuit Missions
and San Ignacio Mini: an UNESCO World Heritage Site;
one of the 30 settlements that converted the Guarani
Indians.
• Other activities: Photo safaris, bird watching,
fishing, rowing and trekking.
