DAY 1
Buenos
Aires – Arrival Day
Upon arrival at Ezeiza International Airport
in Buenos Aires, your English-speaking guide will
meet you and you will be transferred to your Hotel.
After check-in, you will embark on a Introductory
sightseeing tour of Buenos
Aires that will give
you a thorough view of the highlights and major
attractions in town.
DAY 2
Buenos
Aires
Enjoy an overall introductory morning City Tour with
our professional guide to visit a wide array of Buenos
Aires neighborhoods. You will see Plaza
de Mayo, San
Telmo, La Boca (Caminito), Puerto
Madero, Palermo (the
parks, Small Palermo and Palermo
Soho) and the Recoleta Cemetery.
In the afternoon, take a private backstage tour of
the Colon Opera House.
You are free to amend the tour anyway you wish
and our tour guides will contact you a few days
prior to discuss your tour with you.
In the evening, experience Tango at a traditional
Tango Show in the heart of San Telmo.
DAY 3
Mendoza
After breakfast, transfer from your Buenos
Aires hotel
to the domestic airport for your flight to Mendoza.
Upon arrival in Mendoza, you will be transferred to
the Park Hyatt Hotel.
You will be picked up from your hotel to visit
four premium wineries within Lujan de Cuyo region,
situated in the very heart of the famous Malbec
country. Many of Argentina’s most prestigious wineries
are located in this area. It is thirty minutes
away by car from the city center.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at 1884
Restaurant. Francis Mallman, a renowned Chef in Argentina,
is the owner of this unique restaurant that is located
on a corner of the Escorihuela Gascón Winery, in
the Godoy Cruz neighborhood just outside the center
of Mendoza.
DAY 4
Mendoza
Early in the morning you will meet the enologist who
will accompany you throughout this private premium
tour. You will depart to Mendoza’s agricultural oasis
and visit two prestigious wineries. You will visit
their facilities and be able to participate in a guided
wine tasting, during which you will begin to familiarize
yourselves with the local wines and its elaboration
process.
At noon you will have lunch in a recognized winery
Carlos Pulenta (La Burgogne Restaurant), where
you will enjoy an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
In the afternoon you will be able to visit other
wineries and enjoy a wine tasting session.
As the sun sets behind The Andes mountains, you
will return to the hotel.
DAY 5
Mendoza
– Bariloche
After Breakfast, your guide will meet you at the lobby
of the Park Hyatt Hotel. He will take you to Mendoza
Airport to take your flight to Bariloche. Upon arrival
you will be transferred to the Llao Llao Hotel.
Half Day Bike Tour
In the afternoon, you will cycle on the most famous
scenic ring road in Bariloche “Circuito Chico”, with
amazing views around every turn and the sound of
the whispering forest along the road. Our support
vehicle carries our extra clothing as well as water
and snacks; you can also jump in the vehicle if we
need to rest your legs.
You will pass the stunning and picturesque panoramic
view point of Colonia Suiza (Swiss Colony) and continue
on your road to finish at the junction with the main
road. From this point we load our bikes and you will
be transferred back to your hotel.
DAY 6
Bariloche
After breakfast, embark on a full day tour to
visit the charming towns of Villa la Angostura
and San Martin de los Andes.
This tour includes a rich variety of landscapes;
travelling along a wooden road, you will come across
lookout points, rivers and skirt several lakes, including
Nahuel Huapi, Correntoso, Espejo, Escondido, Villarino,
Falkner and Machónico. After visiting the lake area
and La Angostura Village, you will continue to Hosteria
Las Balsas ( Relais & Chateau ) for “a la carte”
lunch.
Going around Lacar lake, you will arrive at the
charming town of San Martin de los Andes, where you
will explore the town before leisurely making your
way back to Bariloche.
DAY 7
Bariloche
After breakfast, your experienced Mountain guide
will meet you at your hotel and you will head to
the trailhead of your climb for the day. The path
climbs steadily up the mountain through the forest
that provides, even in the warmest summer days,
perfect temperature for walking.
Along the way, you will pass some glades in the
forest that provide stunning views to the spires
of Cerro Lopez, providing some spectacular photo
stops.
After four hours you will arrive at the summit (1600
meters above sea level) for a well deserved lunch,
from this point you have an excellent 360º view and
the chance of seeing the Andean Condor in flight.
You start your descent by the same trail that will
take you, after approximately 2 hours, back to our
vehicle at the trailhead.
Other options for this day: • Kayak Trip: In the
morning, depending on weather and wind conditions
we transfer to either Lake Moreno or Lake Gutierrez
for a kayak trip. From the lakes you will have
amazing views of the mountains while gliding the
crystal clear waters. The actual paddling takes
approximately one and a half hours. After relaxing
on the beach on return, we transfer you back to
your hotel around noon.
The rest of the day is free.
DAY 8
Bariloche
– Buenos Aires
The morning is at leisure to enjoy the
facilities in and around the lodge.
Private transfer to the local airport in Bailoche to take your flight to Buenos
Aires. Upon arrival
in Buenos Aires, you will be transferred to your
hotel.
DAY 9
Buenos Aires
Our Personal Shopper will lead a 3 hour
tour and show you the best showrooms, local
designers, leather factories, and other
important boutiques where porteños shop
in BA. This tour ends at Malba Museum (
Latin American Art in BA ) where you will
have an energetic lunch and continue the
afternoon on your own.
Private transfer to the International Airport to
board your departure flight.
