San Isidro, Tigre and Delta of the Paraná River

You’ll be astonished by the verdant green tranquillity of this natural escape, just 45 minutes north of the city center. Join us in exploring the plant life natural to the Delta, as we leave behind the bustle of Buenos Aires.

Come and explore San Isidro, a neighbourhood 25 minutes north of Buenos Aires, which features the San Isidro cathedral, buildings form the colonial period and places where some of the 1810 Revolution events were plotted. Enjoy a private boat ride along the delta, the 5th largest in the world.

You will sail through 2,000 islands surrounded by green vegetation; you will walk in one of the islands and witness different species of indigenous trees and local animals.

Exclusive Delta

If you are looking for new sensations and experiences, this excursion is ideal for you.

If it's a sunny day, you're far better off getting out onto the Delta than staying in Tigre. Waterside restaurants, uninhabited islands, hotels lost in thick vegetation, rare flora and fauna - these waterways have it all.

Sail the channels surrounded by green vegetation and beautiful landscapes. After sailing an hour and a half you will arrive at an exclusive lodge where you will taste typical dishes and engage in outdoor activities. If you are tired, enjoy the lodge swimming pool and contemplate nature in a lovely solarium.

Optional Activities to do in the Delta

Trekking: Paths opened in the forest as well as boots and rain gear are always available in order to explore the inner territory of the island. Exotic bird and other wildlife watching are frequent and simple.

Pedal Boats: With bi-mini top, adjustable seats and ice-box, these boats are the best to explore the area’s semi-virgin water courses, to swim and to enjoy nature. Previous experience is not required.

Swimming: It is possible to swim in the stream. For safety reasons you should stay close to any of the banks and always start your swimming against the flow.

Fishing: All year around it’s easy to catch cockerel, carp and "tarariras" from the landing deck. Fishing tackle and bait is available at the Lodge.

Water Sports: From the Lodge you can practice or learn water-ski, wakeboard, sail navigation, windsurf, etc. At your request our office will make the necessary arrangements with an instructor.

Speed boats and Sightseeing: Delta is a limitless source of untouched nature and exotic primitive spots. Motor, sail or speed boats can be rented for different areas.
